USB drive not recognised in other SC5000 player after FW 3.3.0 update

Has anyone encountered this problem too? Couldn’t find it anywhere on this forum…

I just updated both my SC5000 Media Players from 3.2.0 to 3.3.0 (didn’t play for a while due to sim-racing) and now the USB drive / stick is only recognised in the player it’s inserted in, not in the other one (thus also visa-versa!)

It worked before, from 3.2.0 untill the very beginning of the firmware releases. Nothing changed in my set-up. Blue “Network” lights are on at both of the SC5000 players and the X1800 says it’s connected (FW 1.6).

What happened and how to restore it? How to use the USB drive connected to player 1 on player 2 as well as before?

try restoring firmware to 3.2.0 and then updating again to 3.3.0

Found it: turn on the mixer first, let it boot, then turn on the media players. Now both USB drives are found on the other player, no matter in which port they’re inserted.
