Updating When on Old OS

I’m picking up a pair of sc6000ms on the cheap but they are on an older OS. I haven’t confirmed which OS but my buddy who is selling them only used them with Serato. What is the best method when updating from 2.xx to the latest version? I normally update via WIFI but I know these players will have a big jump in updates.

I cant see any reason why it wouldnt work if you are logged into your profile etc. If they are on ‘1.’ something then maybe upgrade to 2.0 first before going in with 4.2.

Use major versions. 2.x to 3.x to 4.x. First ones via usb and later versions via OTA.
