Is there a way to run two decks and choose to see which deck and what Layer on one split screen somewhat similar to the prime 4 but only two wave forms at your choosing. Example Deck 1 (Master) playing in Split screen Mode running Layer A with Deck 2 Layer B playing underneath wave form from Deck 1. Since there is no Shift Alt View configuration maybe make it Shift Shortcut View to make it happen. If running two of these decks is an option we need to link the waveforms across both units.
Thanks for the response but i was looking to link two SCM5000M’s (i just bought a second unit after love having 1) but thought they would link together in a stackable wave view but instead of Layer A/B it be Player 1 / 2. I saw on crossfade that we can do that by adding the LC6000 (Controller only) by connecting it via USB but could we do the same with an SC model, maybe upgrade the firm wear to toggle the unit from Full Media player to Controller mode of sort.
If you (advice again) stroll around the forum, you’ll read what’s possible and what’s not.
Layer A/B stacked view is possible on one SC player.
By adding an LC to an SC, you’re able to control layer B directly.
If you want, for instance, to see/control a layer of player 2 on player 1? That’s not possible, yet. See the corresponding request here:

A work around is to use instant double
You put deck 2 on deck 1’s layer b
Now you can see deck 2 on deck 1 in dual layer & visa versa
Warning if you set a loop or do something like nudge deck 2 after the trick it won’t copy over on deck 1… It’s not cloning live actions. You need to re do the trick.
Just keep it a visual reference only
Good Idea My first time messing w 4 decks so i see the options now. I came up from a Vestax VCi300 - and i love that little guy. I just tried connecting the 2nd unit to the main one via USB and put the 2nd in computer mode that way its just a Midi controller but no dice. In PC mode both decks control deck One. They just need that ONE Tweek ! hahah. Now to Jail break the Wifi
