first let me say that I dont use sync at all.
So im mixing two tracks one is bpm 120 and the other 122.
I use the tempo fadder to bring the track that is 122.0bpm down to 120.0 and then beat match them together. My problem is that they will slowly fall out of beat like if one of the tracks is playing just a little fast or slower then the other.
I noticed that on the tempo fadder theres some play in the 120.0 zone. What I mean is that the 122bpm track that I brought down to 120.0 well if I barely touch the tempo fadder i can go from -1.61% to -1.67% while still staying at 120.0 bpm almost feels like if there a 120.00 digit but that its just not showing it on the screen.
Hopefully someone can help me with this cause right now I constantly have to nudge to keep my tracks on beat together and its making my sets slopy!
Use the same song on two players. Beatmatch them. If they don’t fall out of beat (at least not as you described it above) - your problem is not the players but slightly wrong bpm.
Haven’t used my sc5000’s too much since I received them. But, I do find this happening to me on older music. New music rides together better. I know on rekordbox they have a more precise bpm “0.00”
