I have a problem with uploading tracks on the unit.
I prepared a library of about 2000tracks in the engine software. I connected the unit and synced the tracks.
The problem is that some of the tracks do not appear at all on the unit….about 100tracks
All the tracks are mp3. All work fine on the pc software.
I recoded some tracks to mp3 and synced again. The tracks that were recoded know work on the unit.
I understand that maybe my tracks were not coded to the mp3 format well.
But i think it is very important that the pc software should detect tracks that have coding problems. If they work on the software one can expect to work on the unit.
When you work with big librarys it is very hard to discover when a track is not copied until you need that track.
For me as a mobile dj, i realy love the concept of a stand alone unit. But in this moment the unit is not ready for profesional use.
I hope that people from denon follow our post and listen to us. We all want to make this units better.
