To inmusic team

hi all

guys u need to move way faster than this

RGB on sc5000 and sc6000 is still a dream for users

If the company is falling let us know so we can sell the denons and move to another company

Waiting months to get updated is frustrating.

Just be patient, I’m sure the development team is doing their best and it will probably happen in one of the next updates. You’d probably be wrong to sell your equipment too quickly.

There are some selfish, ungrateful, impatient, childish, shallow, greedy, self-centred karens out there.

Some of them may be in this thread.

they dont respond to the forum,

they never tease even!!!

I am a consumer of their products and have the right to speak and to know when the company will fix the equipment we purchased.

There’s nothing to fix

Now listen up

We’ve all paid a fair price for great pieces of kit. On top of that, we’ve been given some new features in several free firmware updates.

If InMusic decide that they want to add pretty coloured waveforms, if they can then that wouldn’t be a fix, because the waveforms already work as they were shown and described to work at the time we bought our primes; at the time you bought your prime.

A(nother) free feature added to Primes could be nice, but it’s not a fix - it’ll come as news to you that “doesn’t have prettier waveforms” is not a fault. We weren’t promised RGB waveforms, we didn’t start off with RGB waveforms then lose them accidentally as some sort of breakage, needing to be fixed.

We might be getting waveforms in 3 firmwares time (about 12 months time) or in 6 firmwares time, or we might never get them. If we do, some might consider them a small pretty bonus, if we don’t, then we’re not missing out on anything which we were promised or had previously.

Be happy that they are not pumping out upgrades full of bugs instead of being annoyed. You dont know whats happening behind the scenes, they are probably working hard to make everything work 100% before releasing a new firmware. It could be like a problem with flickering waveforms when using rgb or something like that. Would you be happy if they released a upgrade like that?

What’s tiresome about people like you is that the more a company gives you for free, the more you feel entitled to ask for, and even demand.

Go ask AT users if the grass is greener on their side, since their updates only include bug fixes and never offer a single new feature. I’m sure most of them would like AT to have the same policy of enriching and supporting their hardware over the long term as InMusic does.

And if you’re thinking of selling your equipment to switch to Rane because Denon updates take too long, well, tough luck for you. The team that develops Engine OS is the same team that works for both Rane and Denon products.

So you’ll have to wait just as long between updates with Rane.

So perhaps it would be wise to stop your spoiled-brat reactions and simply appreciate what a company—which, I remind you, has no legal obligation to you—is willing to offer. They are not obligated to keep providing new feature updates; if they do, it’s because they choose to. And we should remain humble and express our gratitude for that. Most companies would have already relegated these units to the “legacy products” category by now.

Didn’t mention Rane at all

waveform is sometimes fall behind the sound thats an issue that needs fix

slow reading from internal ssd thats an issue that needs fix

being behind its own upgrades like what happened with rane system one is an issue that need fix

and the list goes on

I’m an SC6000M user here, and I’ve never experienced audio lag relative to the waveform in standalone (Engine OS) mode.

The only time this happens is when I’m using the decks with Virtual DJ and the waveform is too tall.

This is a well-known USB bandwidth limitation issue, and the only solution is to reduce the waveform height, either by displaying the shortcuts panel or by selecting the “master deck + other deck” display mode.

But I’ve never encountered this problem in Engine OS mode alone.

Optimize/clean your database in Engine Desktop, then resynchronize your playlists with your internal SSD. Ensure your tracks arts doesn’t exceed 600x600 pixels (a search on this forum will show you that huge cover art can significantly slow down the display and loading of your playlists/tracks).

loved the solutions

appreciated.

This super sophisticated RGB moving waveform stuff doesn’t interest me, but if you’re so concerned with it, perhaps you should make your request more modest, more achievable, and more inclusive of others’ desires. For instance, instead of asking for a bazillion-color moving waveform, ask to just be able to select any color for each of the current three color components in the current moving waveform as a first step. You will get closer to what you want while appeasing a wider swath of the community, including those who are color blind to certain hues and those who want to make the moving waveforms black on black.

I’ve literally posted their response to the forum above, so it makes this response utterly baffling.

Closing this topic. It adds nothing and if one had cared to look around on the forum, one can add to ongoing discussions and speak to some staff members as well.

Furthermore, no one is stopping someone to buy what’s personally needed.
