Tips Needed For grouping and programming fixtures- Write Autloops to timeline?

Hey everyone,

I have been using SS for some time but mainly just use the autoscript or autoloops that I make. But what I want to do is to be able to script each track which SS can do but I find it very frustrating with the interface. It would be great if the autoloops were able to be dragged onto the timeline so you could save tons of time programming by programming a bunch of custom autoloops that you would use regularly and drop them onto the scripting timeline. Does anyone else see this as a useful feature?

The problem I have is that if you want to script from scratch you have to program the entire track. If you have lots of fixture and groups I find I easily get lost scrolling up and down and trying to select the right fixtures to be editing. Often I scroll and select a whole bunch of fixtures only for the program to reset and scroll back up and I have to start again…

Does anyone have any tricks for grouping a lot of fixutres and editing them. I wish SS had a page where all the fixtures were represented with icons and you could select them and then edit them and write to the timeline.

Thanks

It sounds like a good idea, I was thinking about something similar.

When you analyze the tracks, under the audio you have the track phrases (intro, main 1, main 2…) it would be cool if we can make our custom presets. We would then be able to create multiple presets for main 1, multiple for main 2 and so on.

With an option to make them manually or “semi automatic” Meaning soundwitch could apply variations in colors, and effect parameters, but keep the template created by us.
