There is no access to the track library, it is impossible to either move tracks or add new tracks from a PC
To help you (and hopefully others facing the same issue), could you provide a bit more detail? For example:
- If you’re using the desktop software, what operating system is your PC running? (Windows version, macOS version)
- Have you recently updated Engine DJ? If so, what version were you using before and now?
- Are you getting any error messages? If so, what do they say?
- Where are your tracks stored on your PC? (Internal drive, external drive, etc.)
- Have you tried connecting your storage device directly to your Engine DJ hardware (if applicable)? Does it recognize the library then?
The more information you can give, the better the chances of figuring out what’s going wrong. Let’s try to get this sorted out for you!

You must select track order to be able to move any tracks, not bpm order
A blurry 8 second long silent video. Very helpful.
Looks like you’re trying to reorder tracks by dragging them around in the browser.
Browser sorting is linked to the columns, so if you’ve selected BPM then tracks are sorted by BPM. If you want to sort by position (number) then you have to select that column.
It does tell you this in the manual.
Eric beat me to it.
It was not easy to spot!
Is Disk D a network drive? You can only add music from locally attached drives like SATA/USB etc.
