Has anyone else had a problem syncing their music to external drives when using the desktop 4.0 update?
No, I haven’t.
It also will get ■■■■ at 90% and stop syncing. It’s like it’s frozen. Or it will say the database is corrupt. I reloaded all my library without being able to resolve the issue.
Well, I don’t have that problem and you’re leaving out all of the pertinent info that anybody else on this forum might need to help you.
Fair enough. In the middle of prepping for a wedding that I am DJ’ing this weekend. Been using my Prime Go for two and a half years now without issues until the 4.0 update. Now my library is corrupt or stops transferring to usb at 80-90% and freezes.
I’ll try and grab some screen shots. In the meantime, I’ll try and figure out how to start my database from scratch. After this wedding, I have time to mess around. Just stressful.
Have you been backing up your database?
Yes. I have this problem and many others do as well. It’s a complex problem that requires a ton of thought and work + testing to get it right for everyone. Team Denon is aware and working on it.
It’s comforting to know that I’m not the only one struggling with this issue. Hopefully they update soon. It’s been amazing to be able to stream with the hardware and work so fluidly with Soundswitch
As @djliquidice says, there are many of us with this problem, and its turning into a nightmare for me but i imagine the devs are having a real headache with it.
Pot luck whether it works or not, most of the time it doesnt. Not great when you have lots of tracks on a USB. I’m getting by at the minute but desperately need to reorganise my folder structure and do some soundswitch autoscripting, but i flat-out do not dare!
Hopefully there will be a fix on the way!
