I’d like to be able to sync my streaming service hot cues between my Prime 4+ and a Mixstream Pro Go. I haven’t bought a Mixstream yet so I have no way to test. Does anybody know if this is possible? My thoughts are that it might be possible through Dropbox integration, or keeping the source drive cloned to Dropbox manually.
Wouldn’t using the same storage device and just plugging it into each machine do this? I assume that data is stored in the library db files on the storage media.
I forgot to mention I use an internal SSD drive for the Prime 4+.
Maybe worth changing up then if that’s what you require?
I don’t know if streaming data syncs back to the desktop app.
You gave me an idea to try something. I put a streaming track in a playlist and exported it to a flash drive. Then took the SSD out of the Prime 4+ and tried loading from the flash drive only. All the cues were there. That works out perfectly if I just export to SD for the Mixstream Pro Go. Thank you for your help!
So I can just export playlists with stream tracks in them from the Prime 4+ collection when it’s connected to Engine DJ desktop to an SD card or flash drive and just use that with the Mixstream Pro Go.
I shouldn’t think that would be necessary. Just switch sources.
I just wanted to be sure there was no chance it was loading hot cue data from the SSD in my test.
