Hi all still having issues when using sync manager, it comes back with an error, drive capacity exceeded but it isn’t even close to being full, in fact there is over 500gb available, anyone else encountered this issue?
Occasionally I’ve had junk on a USB stick that wasn’t managed properly and had to empty the Recycle Bin on the connected stick as it was causing this issue. I’m not saying that is what is wrong with your HDD but maybe worth a check.
Also, are you on Engine DJ 2.0? I think there is a fix somewhere in there for external storage not always reporting the correct free space in the Sync Manager (unless I’ve been dreaming it?).
I am having the same issue and used multiple USB drives with the same result. I am very frustrated with Engine DJ and have recently updated to Engine DJ 4.0.1 and at first it was showing correctly, then after running a to sync a few hours, it showed over capacity eventhough the sync manager calculated the amount of space before I started to sync files. I purchased the Prime 4+ for standalone capabilities and stems and have NOT been successful with this yet. Very disappointed!!!
Yes, I get this EVERYTIME I want to Export to the internal storage. It’s like EngineDJ doesn’t know how to read an SSD’s size. It’s ridiculous, I want to export about 300GB to a 2TB SSD. There’s no way denon would need 7 times the storage space I’m actually uploading.. Amazing how this, 5 years later IS STILL NOT FIXED!
