I’m having an issue with the sweep FX when filter is highlighted. As I turn clock wise and it reaches 1-2 o’clock the bass increases when it should decrease? Any suggestions on filter settings as I’ve tried a few times and it’s wrecking my mixes
Hi, this is a normal behaviour on filters where the resonance is set quite high. It’s done this on every single piece of DJ gear I’ve owned with a filter.
I don’t know the science behind it but I’m sure there is some audiophile explanation as to what is happening.

Resonance boosts frequencies around the cutoff point. If the cutoff is set to the track’s low-end frequencies, it emphasizes them, resulting in the increased bass. This is indeed natural behavior.

Moin,
I use this behavior sometimes when I finish a transition as follows:
- Last 4 beats down to 5 o clock
- Up to 1 o clock when simultaneously pulling down the fader of the ending track
and the bass appaers fully
