after the newest update I had 2 gigs and each time the screen control knob and the two buttons on top did not work for some time, till the controler reset. I searched the internet for a solution to the problem. I came across a suggestion that I should reset the Wi-Fi connection. Indeed, this method restored the functionality of the knob and buttons.
What is worrying is that this problem has been known for a long time. From what I have read, it already occurred two years ago, and not only on SCL4.
So firstly ill say that in 2yrs there have been a lot of firmware updates so the version they were using is likely a lot different to the one you are on, but sounds like the issue still exists.
Its not something ive seen here on the forum until you linked that thread, so im guessing its not a widespread issue. Im wondering if the log files might identify what caused the network dropouts.
Im sure someone from the InMusic team will ask you to raise a ticket with them, but see if there are any steps you can take to ensure a stronger wifi connection, if that is the cause.
