I have hit a brick wall and need help. I purchased Stems and its on my laptop ok, I have added 6/7 tracks as tests to stems and they are showing with the stems logo in front of it that its been done ok also in the stems folder. I have always used a external hard drive anyway. It was plugged in and connected when I did this and when finished as instructed export to hard drive.
Plugged in my hard drive to my SC6000 but no matter where I look there are no stems tracks, they should be showing the logo as it does on the laptop, so what am I doing wrong. No stems.
I think you need to make sure you’re logged into your profile on the SC, and ensure stems is also activated on your InMusic profile. There’s instructions for all that somewhere on the site, I’m not at home atm though so can’t check.
I have since tried with my laptop logged into my InMusic account, checked that my SC6000 was on the latest version and internet connected. I always save my own settings as I turn on the SC6000 I have watched videos on the Prime 4 (cant see one for the SC6000). As I say all on the laptop and showing tracks that I have converted to Stems but nothing on the players at all, I am missing something but what.
Anyway I logged a requested for help a few days ago with inMusic support I bet what I have missed is going to make me look so daft.
ive only done it once but i seem to recall it wasa bit finnicky to get it working. Its gotta be something to do with your profile on the player i would say, as that would govern you being able to see the stems files etc.
