This is the link to the Stems public Beta.

https://community.enginedj.com/t/engine-os-3-2-1-stems-public-beta-1-for-prime-4/50602/2

And this is a line from it.

  • No product compatibility for Stems on non-Prime 4 + devices, please avoid asking

As you can see this topic is only FOR STEMS ON PRIME 4+ so it’s juste basic to not talk about prime 4 for a based topic on prime 4+

if you are mac user and windows have a trick to powerup your computer they would say the samething don’t talk about mac so compatibiliy in a windows os thread

To put simply, there are no official plans to add that feature to any other units, in fact the only ‘official’ wording has been its for the Prime 4+ and nothing else.

As for needing it in October, the best thing to do is look at alternative products because it’s in a test phase for a device you don’t even own, so it’s safe to assume you have absolutely zero chance of your device being given this feature.

And to add finally, putting this in other areas of the forum in some attempt at trying to circumnavigate the instructions set out above, doesn’t make it immune from being locked as you’re assuming, but I’ll leave that up to the mods to decide how stringent they are with dealing the incoming barrage.

I feel this statement should be changed a bit to: it’s safe to assume you have absolutely zero chance of your device being given this feature… by October. There is a possibility that stems will come to other devices over time, as there is no technical reason why it couldn’t. However this is at the total discretion of inMusic & DenonDJ as to whether they want to make this available for other devices or not. Lets hold thumbs that it eventually rolls-out for everyone.

I think the best attitude to life is to deal with facts, that way you avoid building your hopes up for something based on hearsay, only to be ‘incredibly disappointed’ when the thing you’d convinced yourself was coming, doesn’t.

Right now the facts are this feature is only coming to the Prime 4+ and nothing else, and there has been absolutely zero hint that it will be rolled out elsewhere outside of some gossip on YouTube channels. Assuming that’s the status quo, it’s best to not get yourself into a situation of unrealistic expectations.

All good. Perhaps your cup is half empty & mine is half full. Each to their own.

I’d argue the opposite, those who temper their expectations tend to avoid feeling half empty. I’m positive about my product and will remain so even if it doesn’t get the feature, whereas those who build their hopes up risk the inevitable disappointment when their expectations aren’t met.

Im not trying to argue. Merely offering a different perspective on a topic that does have possibility. As you say “facts are this feature is only coming to the Prime 4+ and nothing else, and there has been absolutely zero hint that it will be rolled out elsewhere”. The fact is also that no-one has said it won’t come to other devices either. It’s all about perspective & I felt your statement breaks any hope of this possibility.
