The Ableton Live 12.3 public beta is available and this release will include stems!
By default they are quick draft quality. This short video explains how to configure the interface to chose high quality.

Ahhhh finally 
Now that I’ve time to really look at this, it turns out stems will only be in Ableton Live Suite. Plus, in order to get the “public beta”, you have to apply. So, it’s interesting, but a moot point for me now. I only have AL Standard as it does all I need.
I have to await the official release and reviews with quality comparisons. If anyone here starts using it, I’ll be interested in your experience.
Studio? There’s no such version. Intro, Standard and Suite are the options.
