How about listing your issue. It usually gets better more accurate upto date information rather than saying “I get something a bit similar to your problem” in an old topic.
Sound issues can of course be a midi controller with a hardware problem - in which case send the controller into somewhere authorised. Sound issues from midi are usually computer / laptop capability issues or settings or simply laptop overworked.
For reference, buying new computers , leads , speakers etc are never a waste
Does the same sound issue that you have appear if you pay tracks as a standalone device from usb
If you’re using engine software have you stuck to versio 1.6 so that you have the option for selecting “mcx8000 compatibility mode” - you need that option and it’s not on the latest engine DJ softwares due to the age of the mcx
My brother in christ, why would you do all of that, spend of that money without checking first the basics?
Like…put a usb stick with some mp3, play them in standalone mode…the problem is gone -->means it’s not a hardware issue but a software one (drivers/djprogram/windows)–>check with another dj program–>same issue, now you know it’s either the drivers or windows itself.
Is it really not common sense to do troubleshooting steps?
Hello
I had a similar problem when installing a windows 10 update, apparently it is a windows usb driver problem, my 2 drivers a cmd 4 studio and the mcx8000 stopped working correctly on usb 2.0 ports and only worked well on ports usb 3.0 even though both controllers are usb 2, I recommend trying to change to one of these ports or change the usb drivers so I solved the problem until today I have not had any more problems
Hallo, the same problem with the sound.Even when i use serato or vj.I have a new laptop windows 11…16GB RAM,GeForce RTX™ 4060 Laptop GPU 8GB GDDR6,I7 PROC 13TH GEN. All this for stems…And when i use an older laptop or a pc with windows 10 and with on board graphic card, everything working just fine.I also put to my new laptop, windows 10 but after an hour the bad sound start again.I upload a sample of what i experience…From 0:00 to 0:56 its bad then the sound is good and then again bad…
It’s classic hot latency. That first golden hour you have where this doesn’t happen is because the laptop and its processor are cold.
When processors heat up they shut down their hottest cores to enable them to cool down - but if you’re still DJing , they never will cool down … while cores 1 to 4 are switched off for cooling, cores 5 to 8 are trying to DJ for you on only half a brain - the only way all the cores are going to cool down is to stop DJing for an hour.
You can try upping the latency to 80ms or 100ms (it gives the laptop longer to think about the audio it’s processing - but it might not be enough - give it a try
The sample that i upload,it’s after one second i press the play…Not one hour. Our “friends” here in DENON,have the same drivers a long time…I thing its the non compatibility with windows 11…We will wait until we get older,to fix the problem.Maybe we’ll be dead when they decide to fix it…Just like the stems for the denon prime 4+…I cry for the money that i pay…
But you can fix it instantly by increasing your latency setting.
Increasing the Latency gives the pc more time to process the audio data that’s coming into the soundcard. The grotty rapid on/off sound you’re hearing in the clip you posted is what you get when the audio data is coming in faster than the PC can process it.
I did it already. This is what i do six months now.I’m telling you i’ve try everything.I even set up my laptop not to sleep, not to breathe, not to be connectet to internet, the c-state,the everything…
