Just want to ask about this, since it´s bothering me for quite some time but somehow was going around it … where is the problem when my mp3 files have properly saved album art cover but Prime 4 some of them doesn´t show? is a problem with resolution of those pictures or something?
can have more opportunities …
first: some tracks are from i-tunes … I tunes saves the pictures in the mp3 folder, not in the mp3 tag. then you need to insert the cover picture by yourself (with mp3 tag … or similar)
second option …
yes it could be the resolution of your artwork. try artwork 350x30 pix or 500x500 pix size. Thats more than enough. Also the cover pictures are embeded in the mp3, and if they are too big, you know what that can cause … loading times … (not much, but there is a reason … )
third option …
some music files never can have cover-pictures … wave is an example … it´s lossless, but there is no space in the file for artwork. so wav is a special candidate.
Thank you for the response ! i will try to check the tunes without album cover with these options, but i have feeling the first one will be most likely it
Not true, I have a large library of WAV files that have cover (over 50.000). Technically it is possible as the WAV files consists of chunks of data, one of the chunks (named ID3) are used for the cover. It can easily be applied using free tools like kid3 https://kid3.kde.org/
Oh, thanks for the info. Looks like I have not worked much with newer wav files. My knowlege of wav was, that there is only musicdata in. But things changed Thanks.
There is actually some problem with the covers: sometimes it happens to me that they are no longer visible in Engine DJ Desktop, even if they were previously. The defect is solved by reloading the TAGs with Engine DJ, or sometimes it is solved with MP3tag by rewriting the file and then re-marking the tags with Engine DJ.
