Some questions about SoundSwitch

Hi I have a couple of questions about SoundSwitch, when the autoloop banks populate for the first time and uses the provided positions lets say i deleted them and created a new positions, will the new positions be used in the previously created autoloops? or do i need to re-populate them? Same question for gobo changes too, if i had an autoloop that uses for example “Gobo change 1” if deleted it and created “Gobo change x” will the autoloops incorporate the newly added gobo change? or do i need to manually re-add it in the autoloop?

Do the position markers still appear on the autoloop timeline?

Not all of them no

I’ve been in a position in which I wasn’t that happy with the autoloop. So in the second bank I’ve added extra things over what was already there.

I’ve added extra positions cues where there were too few; added some movement effects here and there on almost all autoloops; and also added chase effects here and there. I didn’t add any gobo attributes since I didn’t have time to experiment with them

Editing the an entire bank took me around 40-50 minutes. I didn’t plan them too much, just quickly added extra positions, movements and chases, trying not to repeat the patterns and effects too much. I was happy with the results.

Soundswitch gives you that 80% result with 20% effort. Everything you manually add over takes you closer to that 100% effect.

I’m thinking of doing that, adding some more movements

I can’t get my Soundswitch to use the gobos at all - they are there if I run it clean from the programme, but the second the Denons become involved with the same file, no gobos (different movement patterns and colours too). Can’t work this out yet.

Could be a number of reasons. Make sure you load the correct project & venue on your gear. Make sure engine exports the correct the correct project (check the path in settings)
