Smartlists "does not contain" does not add the track when the field is empty (and so, does not contain..)

Something I walked into when creating smartlists;

I would want to exclude tracks from a certain smart playlist by using e.g. Comment does not contain my-exclude-text.

Now, when I do this, the smartlist only adds the tracks when the comment field is not empty. It does not add the tracks if the comment field is empty. In my believe it should add that track as the field is empty and so indeed does not contain my-exclude-text.

Any thoughts?
