OK, I’m stumped, what does shift, long-press-vinyl do on a Prime Go.
The display changes to show some beat-edit buttons that don’ work. What’s going on?
Sounds like it’s doing exactly the same as just long press, which is entering beat grid edit mode.
You’ll need the manual to explain the workings of that though, far too much for my aging fingers 
It’s not the same effect as long press. That works as-per the manual. Try it out, it’s different (and not in the manual: I already looked).
Is it the new ‘slip’ mode?
I have no idea what slip mode does but I know they have added it
Not slip either - that rapidly flashes the button to show it is active. I’ll post a picture… downbeat anchor shift left and right have no effect.

the slip mode (long time on P4, since I have bougth the gear) is a nice tool to jump through a track, but it needs some training. Till today I’m not sure, how it will react, when I will use the tool.
Have some fun when you will slip.

Just read the manual:
“Press and hold Shift and then press and hold this button to manually adjust cue/loop point locations left or right using the touchscreen controls.”
OK, I didn’t find that in there. I was expecting it to adjust downbeat, but if it’s cue points, I’ll put some cues in there and check it out (I don’t have cues stored on a lot of my tracks so didn’t see any effect).

I always head to the front face description of each button then read it on there. The one where all the buttons are numbered.
Not sure why I did not see it - I might have an older version of the manual PDF.
Anyhoo, I finally see the effect - it’s to micro-adjust your cue point if your quantisation is off.

I’m going to try it out too now haha, never used it.
If you google engine OS downloads, it takes you to the page where all the downloads and manuals are, the latest one is up.

I’m going to guess it’s a hidden feature that we didn’t even realise was there, let alone AlphaTheta, who will add this in 2029.

Isn’t there an undocumented option to shift all the cues together in Engine DJ too? I’m sure I’ve seen that somewhere.

It was added a while back.
Helps with the lossy file encoder shift during conversion eg importing a rekordbox/traktor library.
Shift + Beat Grid does the same on 5000/6000m = shift hotcues enmasse (with the arrows on the screen)
