Help! Everything connected up to laptop as normal. I have Serato dj pro but for some reason I can’t use my x1800 and sc5000. The sc5000 says please connect Serato dj hardware but it is connected already. I’ve tried every work around for it
The only Serato hardware you have is the X1800 mixer. Looks like that’s not connected? Cannot see it well enough on the photo.
The SC players are Serato accessories.
Looks like the Mac is not seeing the mixer.
Disconnect the players and connect the mixer directly to the Mac.
Do that before starting serato dj.
When that’s active then daisy chain the players via usb to another port on the Mac
The x1800 and x1850 mixers do not include a Serato DJ Pro license. These mixers require a paid upgrade to run Serato DJ Pro
See the Serato website, it clearly states “paid upgrade”
Here the author of the post says he has serato dj pro, but we do not know if he just downloaded serato DJ Pro (in which case it will not work) or if he bought the serato DJ pro paid upgrade (in which case it should work)
Looks like @Collyer_DJ already has the standalone Serato DJ license
