Hi, My serato will not connect to my Denon Prime 4? it keeps saying ‘connecting to prime 4, this could take up to 1 minute’ then nothing?? I have updated all firmware / drivers in the prime 4 but still wont connect?
I have also tried this on 3 PCs and 1 laptop and still the same, so I guess its has to be somewhere in my prime4.
Please can you help with this?

Are there permissions in place that are blocking it on your PC? what version of Serato are you running? is it compatible?
When you turn prime on have you put it in computer mode??
I presume the Quick Start guide has been followed?
Hi Version 2.5.9 is the install . I have checked all permissions and firewall but still it wont connect to my prime controller. I am also running the update version Engine OS 2.1.2
Any more ideas as this?
BTW Virtual DJ is perfect

Windows or mac?? Ok can you see the prime4 in computer mode with engine ok?. Is the prime connected and switched on BEFORE opening serato.

Yes I can see the engine. When I push the computer icon in 4, I don’t get the ‘Main’ (in pic) that’s shown as the source in the guide you sent me. Its just goes straight into computer mode. Then I start serato and it tries to connect but then nothing.
Kk what version of serato. I take it you have logged into serato. Its finding the prime in engine and vdj so we have proven the connection is there so its now into serato to get to the bottom of it.
The two icons you see in manual are the usb drives connected (possibly one in sata bay)
Hi mate. Its the latest version on serato. Ive gone through all the settings inside serato and everything seems as it should be. I must say that in the prime 4 screen the player does run if I play a song in serato, so somethings just not right. I know its probably something really simple but what? as I say ive done (i think) everything.

Ok sounds weird but can you download and try version 2.5.5 of serato Also have you logged into serato and gome into the my account screenvand see whats in there. I’l dm you.later on when im at home and hook up so we can get to bottom of it with you.
May be a silly question but: have you installed the Prime 4 drivers on your PC? Cheers! Mau
