Selling prime 4 plus

Hi there , could anyone point me in the right direction to sell my prime 4+.

I’m in Leeds (UK) , would somewhere like cash converters be best or looking for a specialist?

Thanks all

I would suggest trying Reverb or Ebay.

Reverb, will look into that

Not a fan of eBay had a few con artists try it on before

Yeah there are buttheads everywhere on every platform.

Yeah and I always seem to get em… lol

That’s why I still have loads of old gear, not worth trouble selling it all…let alone trying for £1200.

eBay in the UK is dead now. Messing about with seller fees and putting them on to the buyer has all but killed the platform for private sales.

I have loads of stuff to move on too but can’t be bothered listing it on eBay till they sort themselves out, if ever.

Oh god yeah after fees it becomes a joke, really not worth the trouble, like someone buying a 15 year old mixer then complaining that the pots crackle then eBay deciding with the buyer and giving them a full refund even though it was listed as old, well used and super cheap.

We need cash buyers, come see item for what it is then buy it if you are happy.

Got some mc3000 , mc2000 , hd2500, numark rack cd players and mixers, loads of small lights just taking up space. Would rather them sit here than some idiot making up faults to get discounts or refunds

Facebook Marketplace then, but be careful to get cash before handing over etc etc …..

Get a price from Bop DJ in Leeds. I used to sell them all my old gear and was usually for trade-in but they used to (not sure if they still do) do cash. Maybe worth checking out. They are under arches.

You could try CEX, although you won’t get much in cash (1/2 of what they sell it for I think), might get a little more in vouchers (2/3) or that’s what it used to be, also depends on how they grade it (ie A = good condition with box, B = reasonable condition with or without box or C = last resort, no box)

Depends how desperate you are to sell it. I always find CEX to lowball everything.

Yeah I agree, very hit & miss.

Sometimes they give good prices, most times not, but it’s the same when buying 2nd hand stuff from them as well.

You take a chance either way, just do your research, tbh I only use them to trade if there’s something I want from them at a reasonable price as they do offer a 5 year warranty (not that it’s probably worth the paper it’s printed on)
