In the new update for DJay pro saw the Pioneer FLX10 got screen support in the Jogs, users of stand alone players been asking for screen support since support for djay pro was introduced. Come on Denon DJ/Engine Dj don’t you think it’s time you guys allow this feature. Serato DJ has screen support from day 1.
What makes you think it’s Denon who’s holding back the support?
Screen support from Denon DJ is available via an SDK.
Any developer that wants to add support buys the SDK access. I think asking Algoriddim would be the first stop.
Already ask Algoriddim on their forum and they said its up to Denon to unlock the feature.
Algoriddim say that about any vendor that has screens. They blame the vendor and say they’ve been blocked, but clearly it’s nonsense as Atomix have no such issues adding screen support to VirtualDJ.
Have you noticed the FLX-10 screen integration only announced with PC/Mac and not the iOS devices. Interesting decision.

On that point, Slak_Jaw on the Algoriddim forum states: “I spoke with engineering, and unfortunately jog wheel screens cannot be supported on iOS devices because this implementation requires HID which is not supported on iOS.”
As for the FLX-10 support, it Is stated “Official support for the Pioneer DJ DDJ-FLX10 controller with full on-jog screen integration, developed in collaboration with AlphaTheta (macOS, Windows)”
I have to agree on that, and am puzzled.
I’m not sure what the downside is for Denon DJ on that collaboration since they don’t sell the Engine DJ software. The mappings implemented seem to work well, sans screen support. It seems like a collaboration would increase sales of units.
I can’t tell from this video, but it looks like the jog screen is displaying track data?
There are also cool pics of people using the Prime Go with an iPad running djay Pro.
