SC6000 touch screen unresponsive

SC6000, software 2.1.2, touchscreen became unresponsive appr 1,5 hour after update (brand new player, was updated to 2.1.2 before playing on it), player is still fully functional (besides touch screen which doesn’t respond to touch). reset by manual power off is not solving the issue, issue is also not disappearing after leaving the unit on for several hours. issue is also not related to type of storage used.

please advice what to do…

ps. my other SC6000 works just fine…

Is the screen permanently locked from touch, even after several power cycles?

Did this happen when You touched the right edge of the screen?

Yes permanently locked….

Tried indeed Several power cycles, didnt help

It started when the plager was on But Not being played on for > 1 houR

Then I would contact the shop and send it back for the warranty repair.
