SC6000 platter won't backspin, is it easy to fix?

When i backspin on the SC6000, it grinds to a halt quickly, the tension control works, and is on the lightest setting. When i hold the player upside down and spin it’s smooth like my other SC6000.

When i grab the platter with a hand on each side, there is a bit of direct vertical play, so i’m thinking / hoping I can get to the bottom of the platter and find a loose nut i can tighten up underneath?

Have you reached out to Denon support?

No, its out of warranty, but I was recommended a service / repair centre to contact by my local dealer. Apart from that, deck works great, just no festival backspins :joy:
