I wonder if we will ever have any firmware update in the near future since there is so much to be addressed yet… I mean, look at the FEATURES REQUEST list… Some of these are still interesting and useful but for some reasons DENON seems to be blind on this topic… CIAO

So far every update that came out for any Denon dj product was also for SC5000. So I bet next one will also be valid for the SC5000 units.

I disagree, I absolutely disagree. I’ve had the SC5000M for almost 8 years. In 8 years, more than 100 features have been added or significantly improved. What else do you need? The SC5000M has everything a professional DJ needs.
