SC Live Soundswitch crossfader behavior

Using soundswitch with a cross fader? (SC Live 4)

I noticed soundswitch has settings on PC for adjusting cross fader behavior — but I can’t seem to find it on the SC Live 4.

When the faders are up on Deck 1 and Deck 2 and I go from Deck 1 to Deck 2 with the crossfader although the musical output is Deck 2, the lighting output will stay on Deck 1 because the fader is still all the way up on it.

This is infuriating as a hip hop DJ as I use the crossfader in a lot of transitions. I tried learning to do them with the Deck’s faders but it was too difficult to break the years of muscle memory.

Is there any way to fix this that I haven’t found? I’m loving the soundswitch integration with the SC Live 4 but this is almost a dealbreaker for me

I’ve just had a play with this and can’t see any way to get the cross fader to switch lighting either. I found the active channel switches (to enable/disable lighting for ch1-4) but I can’t see an option for the cross fader or an override of any sort. I can’t imagine it would be too difficult for the devs to implement though.

Yeah I’m thinking it’s just not a feature that’s in it. Would love the devs to add this though.

In the meantime, someone mentioned to me just slightly lowering the volume of the song I’m transitioning out of, which is a quick but inconvenient fix

Honestly I do not see the value in the cross- or channel faders controlling the lights’ intensity. Only the Master out Level should in my view. But maybe I‘m missing a benefit? Happy to learn more …

I’m transitioning between songs with the crossfader, so I need the lighting to match the new song— rather than just continue sticking with the old song that’s not even audible anymore.

I believe this was implemented:
