Newest drivers, newest firmware, and on both Mac and PC I can’t get the computer mode to function.
The device shows as an audio device, but isn’t recognized as a controller in both Serato and Engine DJ.
Any ideas?
Some more details might be helpful. Serato 2.6.2 and 3.0.x should work as intended. Put into computer mode, it will reboot, connect, volia. Maybe a bad USB cable?
Engine dj will not recognise the controller, as it is not designed to do that. It is a library program, not a dj program. As for serato - needs to be 2.6.2 or higher. Also make sure Your SC Live 4 firmware is up to date.

How does one exit computer mode with sc live 4? Just purchased one and can’t work it out apart from turning off and on again.
Switch of the dj software or unplug the usb cable and then you will have a button on the screen to go back to normal mode.
