Hello,
strange behaviour on my sc live 4 (update to engine 4.0).
When I switch from standalone to computer mode and run virtualdj (infinity) I would expect to see on the sc screen, the virtualdj skin.
And this is what happen if I use anoter pc, same virtualdj version…
Anyone have got this issue?
This is what I have already tried to do:
-reinstall windows driver (V.1.0.3): (unistall/reboot/install/reboot, run vdj) no screen
-change usb port: no screen
-delete skin under %LOCALAPPDATA%\VirtualDJ\Skins\Denon SCLIVE4 Screen.zip : no screen
The problem you are experiencing seems more related to the computer environment + Virtual DJ and not to the SC Live 4 unit itself since you seem to indicate that it works correctly on another computer. We can therefore conclude that the problem is not related to the unit itself.
I therefore think that you should rather post a support request on the Virtual DJ forum on which you will certainly have more chance of exchanging with other users using the same unit.
However, can you detail the technical characteristics of the two computers on which you carried out your tests?
Does one of the two use a different version of their operating system?
Hello,
same pc’s running win10 latest update.
Differences that one is an assembled desktop, the other is a Dell, so I don’t think this is the problem.
Notice that just for test, I download and run Serato pro and the SC screen show serato screen.
Agree, problem seems to coming from some error in virtualdj setup…
I’ll try to open a ticket also to software side.
But if someone have esxperienced and have suggest to solve, it’s welcome!
Is the computer on which it does not work with virtual DJ equipped with a USB 3.0 port or higher on which you connected your sc live 4? Are you using the blue USB 3.0 cable supplied with the unit?
Note that serato sends infinitely less information to the SC live 4 screen than virtual DJ which sends a much more complex interface, heavy in information and requires a much larger USB bandwidth resource.
