It would be good to have the samples to be able to beat match current tempo.
Not having this feature makes samples redundant. I used to usetraktor and this was a great feature using the remix decks.
Don’t know how hard it would be to have samples sync to current deck bpm.
Agreed. Standard stuff for a DJ sampler.
When the sampler was eventually added (after much requesting and waiting) the looping and syncing functionality really should have been there from day one.
There’s probably an outstanding feature request for it already. Place your vote. These things tend to go on for years.
i use external samplers and sync them with wifi to the player laptop
Who said the next generation of Denon DJ hardware wasn’t going to be some kind of hybrid DJ/sampler?
Musical DJ performance is at the forefront, just look at the adoption stems. New pad functions (MPC LIve 3) and sample timings I’m pretty sure are coming.
