RGB Waveforms, Rating Songs, Horizontal Waveforms on Numark Mixstream Pro Go

Hello Guys, First thank you for creating Engine DJ. I was a Serato user and just bought the new Numark Mixstream Pro Go for a better mobile Djing. So far, I like Engine DJ, however I have a few questions. I would appreciate your help on this.

  1. Is it possible to show the Waveforms of the songs in RGB colors? For example, Bass in Red, Mids in Green, Hights in Blue. That would be so helpful.

  2. Is it possible to show the Waveforms horizontal?

  3. I would like to rate the songs I play inside Engine DJ. But somehow when I click on the stars I can’t rate them. How can I do that? Is it also possible to add comments?

  4. I would like record my mixes with the Engine DJ software. Is this possible? Thanks

Hi, I’ll reply to your questions as best I can.

  1. Not at the minute, there is an open feature request in the forum for you to vote on.

  2. Shift and view does it on the Prime 2, I assume the same applies for the Numark, have you downloaded the manual for it?

  3. Again not doable right now, another feature request is active for you to vote on.

  4. You can on other Engine units but not sure about this one, the manual would also explain if its possible.

Edit: this is the link to the online manual, looks like horizontal view and recording are both possible.

thanks so much for the fast answer Stu-C, you rock! Do you have links for point 1) and 3). I would like to vote for them. These points can be very very helpful.

You can head to the feature requests section from the homepage, number 3 should be close to the top as it was only recently discussed… the other should be searchable using the search.

I am sorry to bother with this, but somehow I can’t find the the posts to vote for 1) and 3). Can you please paste the links here? I would appreciate it very much. Thanks

Use the search (magnifying glass) and type in:

For 1. “RGB waveforms”

For 3. “rating a track”

We are definitely here to help, but please use search. There’s so much to be found on the forum. Lots of members discussing your questions already, so go ahead and share your thoughts with them as well.
