Hi All, Just a quick question before I possibly corrupt any files, i currently run both platforms Rekordbox and Engine, I was / am a pioneer user but now have SC600 X1850. My question all my music is on a ssd on laptop which is also the primary folder Rekordbox reads, if I point Engine to the same directory on my hard drive to scan will this corrupt the folder in Rekordbox, I have used the xml method previously but am adding tracks all the time and would like to just drag and drop each time i add new files. Hope that makes sense
no 100 percent gurantee, but i do the same with recordbox and eninge. I have the same file locations for both and just drag and drop the files into the software. As i know, engine does only create a path to the folder. It does not change any of the data or redirect it. Therefore the file location stays the same and recordbox should be fine.
