I just got my new Prime 4 plus up and running, coming from a DDJ-400 and wow is all I can say. It’s like going from a Kia to a Lambo! Loving it!
When I import my RB data, I choose Hot Cues and Loops but I also used memory cues extensively in RB to help me visualise the best time transition a new song using 64 and 32 beat markers before a drop and or the outro.
Is there a work around? I tried adding the memory cues as Hot Cues in RB within the 9-16 slots that exists, but then realised pretty fast that Engine doesnt recognise those HCues.
Is there a place in this forum for suggest software upgrades? Has this been spoken about before? Thanks in advance!
There is…. However, the request has only picked up 11 forum user votes in 2.5 years, and there’s several hundred user requests for new features, enhancements etc - so I wouldn’t be surprised if it doesn’t appear. It may be best to look at workarounds or changes to your workflow.
Inmusic have been amazing at releasing firmware updates and putting dozens, if not hundreds,of fantastic new features onto their machines over the last couple of decades but inviting users to make wishes on a whim means that even if 100 firmware updates got released in the next few years, not even half the user requests would make it out to the world, not even with a great post about how Denon DJ would take over the world if only they would add my feature.
