Hi everyone, I just wanted to give you a quick update on how things went over the weekend. I had the Rane System One controller running for over 12 hours, and I didn’t experience any dropouts, stuttering, or other problems. Everything worked perfectly. The only thing that really bothered me was dragging tracks into the Prepare list. You have to be very precise and sensitive when doing it, and in some situations, it’s simply not possible to be that precise. Other than that, I’m very happy with it. Cheers! :clinking_beer_mugs:

Thanks for the report @Luigi_Lo_Mele - You can also use Shift + pressing the Back button to add tracks to the prepare list.

This is really annoying. And not just loading into Preparation. Clicking Preview often causes tracks to fly into the deck. This new feature is terrible in every way.

all you need to do is hit shift+back and it adds to prepare, nice and easy

2 things that bother me in the prepare list are

  1. does not follow the same swipe rules as the entire rest of the deck, swipe left removes it so if you are in the habit of swiping tracks in to load and then go to the prepare and by habit and muscle memory you swipe left, to load it to deck one, you now lost the track
  2. if you load a track and decide to not play it yet, its now gone. it should stay in the prepare list until u shut down the deck or manually remove with a swipe command or hitting shift+back again. there are a few people i know that have like a dinner premix we leave in the prepare area to jump to quick and use it 2-3 times through the night, on pioneer gear this was convenient to always have it there vs scrolling to a playlist. no big deal but a convenience
