Hey @DjMell26 OTA update and download links are available on the Engine DJ website. On the Engine OS side, select the Rane SYSTEM ONE as your device. The links will then provide the Engine OS 5.2.0 update.

Engine DJ Performance Software for Hardware (OS)

Note: Engine DJ 5.2.0 is exclusive to RANE SYSTEM ONE users. A future Engine OS update may introduce support for additional hardware features, where applicable.

New Features

  • OmniSource Support for Algoriddim djay - Seamlessly access and perform with your djay library across supported platforms.

  • New Filter Roll Sweep Effect - Added Filter Roll as a Sweep FX option, giving DJs another creative tool for transitions, build-ups, and performance effects.

Improvements and Fixes

  • Improved compatibility between Engine Stem Pad FX and Serato Software FX, allowing you to use both simultaneously.

  • Added a safeguard to prevent Device Storage Mode from being enabled unless the device is connected to a computer.

  • Improved audio performance on macOS by resolving an issue that could increase latency over extended use when the RANE SYSTEM ONE was used as a computer audio interface.

  • Added a new Fader FX Trigger setting, allowing DJs to choose whether Crossfader, Channel Faders, or both activate Fader FX.

  • Fixed an issue where metadata tags were not displayed for tracks imported from rekordbox.

  • Fixed an issue where re-sorting a playlist while editing could unexpectedly change the current track selection.

  • Fixed an issue where tapping an empty area of the library sidebar could incorrectly shift interface focus.

  • Fixed an issue that could cause saved Wi-Fi passwords to be lost after disconnecting from a network.

  • Fixed an issue where the Engine Profile onboarding screen could incorrectly report no network connection despite being connected.

  • Fixed an issue on motorized-platter devices where Continue Mode advancing into an empty track list could affect deck play/pause functionality.

  • Fixed an issue where loading an unavailable TIDAL track could cause other actively playing TIDAL tracks to be unloaded.

  • General performance, stability, and usability improvements.

I expected to find release notes in the Engine OS section, and sure enough, when selecting RS1 and the update method—Mac, Microsoft, or USB—the version that downloads is indeed 5.2.0.

Also, I get it, I totally get it, but man I wish some of the older engineos controllers would get some djay pro integration or any of the quality of life, love, specifically the mixstream pro go. But yes I totally get why it didn’t. loL

Im not talking about being able to be used as a controller in computer mode. Thats been available for a long time.

That makes no sense. How do you expect to use it with Djay Pro if you’re not using it as a controller? Denon are not going to replace EngineOS with Djay Pro internally.

I think you’re misunderstanding my post.

Anyhow would be nice if some some of the quality of life functionality from the rs1 would trickle down to other engineos controllers. Would be a miracle if djay pro could be fed into the touchscreens like the rs1.

One can dream. Or just get an rs1

Djay Pro is not fed to the screen of the System One. The Omnisource devices run EngineOS at all times. That’s how they’re able to switch sources without rebooting.

if only djay pro could be used through the touchscreens on other controllers like it can on the rs1.

if other dj controller support a tablet or ipad ,you can use the table or ipad for the touchscreen with djay pro

I don’t want to hijack this thread about other ways to use djay pro with engineos based controllers but yes that’s how I’ve been using djay pro with these types of controllers.

Unfortunately Algoriddim don’t like supporting screens. They claim that Denon lock the screens but from what I’ve been told, the screens are not locked - it’s an excuse.
