When a track has been placed on a deck it will instantly disappear from the he prepare crate even it it has not been played. This should not happen until the track has been played out with the crossfader open.
Sometimes I change my mind about playing the selected track but want to keep it in the prepare crate, I then have to search for it again and place back in the crate.
Thereās no point typing ā +1 ā - those donāt get counted up
The initial request needs to be made a bot able post, in the feature request section of the forum. Once there, other forum members can add one of their 10 forum votes to the request.
Youāre better just raising a support ticket. the more they get then the greater focus. This is more a bug than a feature request because if itās āunplayedā the track should not be removed from the prep list. Thatās how it works in VDJ (well thereās an option to leave or remove if played)
As I posted before, the vote system just does not work and this is something that needs fixed now, not years down the line.
It only seems that way when impatient people have little regard for others requests - not everyone needs or wants the same requests queue-jumped infront of other peopleās requests
I think this provides a good view as to why some things may or may not be implemented, regardless of votes etc. According to AI, InMusic have approximately 501 employees across all the lines of business.
It also might provide some insight as to why spamming support tickets into them might not be the best course of action. I had this discussion on the Serato forum recently that it might be counter intuitive filing lots of reports when the company dont have the capacity to deal with them in a timely manner, and it also makes separating the wheat from the chaff much more difficult.
Id argue that the more tickets they get will do the opposite of focusing minds, from first hand experience of being on the business end of support tickets in my day job.
I feel like there needs to be another list thatās like ācurrent mixā list that behaves differently to the prep list, if they donāt want to change the behaviour.
Or they at least need to review the prep list and think about implementing things people are expecting from it.
How about a way to send it from the deck back to the prep list then? This would be handy for DJ Scratch tools, acapella or sample tracks that might be used more than once in the same set.
