Rane System One "bug" using A/B/C playlist shortcuts

just got the System one, the A,B,C buttons for the playlists should work no matter where you are, if a track is playing and im in full waveform screen view (layout 1) I should be able to hit “B” to just jump to the saved playlist i set for it, I have to sometimes first hit browse and then “B” which kinda defeats the purpose of the shortcut since browse brings you to your playlists and the saved playlist is probably in view already to press anyway

here is a video showing and explains - https://youtube.com/shorts/HD1oLG4eYt0

Could it be that it’s not jumping to the playlist you are currently using

Eg

  1. you are already in playlist A,

  2. triggering playlist shortcut for A

Ah that makes sense! I’m so used to it go back to the playlist regardless with this feature on the Opus. Maybe they can change it so it still goes to the playlist to load the next track vs hitting back. Either way it’s awesome.

Just tested here. Not sure if it is a bug but if you for example have bank “a” selected then go to the deck view, pressing “a” again does nothing and you need to hit browse.

Does seem strange behaviour, however having the performance library view gets round that as your selected playlist is always in view.

Does turning the browse knob not automatically get you back to scrolling the playlist ?

Yes, it does, unless you have it assigned to waveform zoom.

I have also found you cant save Tidal playlist shortcuts to these buttons. This would be nice.

yes, as I use it more ill get used to the work flow im sure, the unit is a beast

Yes streaming service playlists assignment would definitely be helpful.
