Rane System One - auto set cue (not hot cue) on first sound/beat?

Is there a way on Engine DJ or the Rane System one to have it detect the first beat or sound of a track and make that the “cue” for the start of track? not hoit cue, the cue above the play button so when you press play and want to get back by hitting cue it brings you back to the first beat, not the 2 seconds of dead air before some tracks?

Pioneer has this where it auto cues based on sensitivity adjustment you set in menus

Been highlighting this for ages now. The beatgridding (and first beat detection) needs a massive overhaul.

I fully agree with that. One of the few, but baffling shortcomings of Engine OS. Placing it randomly in the empty void before the track even starts is just useless, and Pioneer has Auto-Cue since 1994 (rudimentary, of course, but convenient nevertheless).

I’ve set Hot Cues, the first of them at my desired starting point, for many of my tracks. But not all.

Autocue was really a cd thing. Setting the starting point at for instance -60dBFS. :smiling_face_with_sunglasses:
