I’m currently having two problems with my Rane System One!
The first is that it doesn’t remember the phone I’m using for network sharing and its password.
The second is that it also doesn’t save the platter speed preferences, even though the settings are saved correctly (“Save To My Drive”). I first press “Shift” + “33/45RPM” (the saving seems to work because when I connect the RS One to EDJ Desktop, the motors are correctly set to “Track Speed” “45 rpm”).
To summarize:
If I don’t use the RS One for 4 or 5 days, I have to re-enter the Wi-Fi password because the “Auto Connect” mode doesn’t work, even though my phone is visible in “Preferred Networks”.
Regarding the rotation speed, it defaults to 33rpm as soon as the RS One starts up, whereas in the “Playback” - “Track Speed” settings, it’s correctly set to “45rpm”. I’ll have to press “shift” + “33/45RPM” again, but perhaps the platter rotation choice isn’t saved in “settings” - “Profile” - “Save To My Drive”, but does that only affect the music playback speed?
