I searched the manual (PDF) and couldn’t find a definitive process, so I put a quick video online for anyone interested in seeing how to install new samples on your Engine 3.0+ SC5000/SC5000M/SC6000/SC6000M decks… I’m not doing this for likes and subs, but share this howto.
Process:
- Locate your sample in a playlist
- Swipe the sample to the right till you see “Load” (on the left)
- Tap the Load button till you see a transparent Load Overlay
- Tap whichever sample you want to overwrite via the screen or the sample triggers (To access sample triggers, hold shift and press roll)
