In engine dj 4 in numark mixstream pro+ how do I put the tracks of songs in BPM order and not alphabetically?? I also don’t have engine dj installed on my computer. Only via numark mixstream pro+ And how do I do BPM analysis of all my songs from the external hard drive. I will use the controller to play standalone without a computer, having all my songs on the external ssd hard drive or usb stick. Thanks.
Hi and welcome to the forum :).
What is “BTM Beat analysis”? Do you mean “BPM (beats per minute)?
Yes sorry I mean BPM
Why are you not using engine? Chances are, your computer is much faster than the media player.
Thank you for your reply. I also use a computer with a professional DJing program. Now I am interested in the answer to my specific question. Thanks…
You asked more than one question.
You can put tracks from your drive in BPM order once they’re analysed. See the product manual to learn how to use your equipment.
Analysis of your entire collection is best performed using the Engine DJ software on your computer, as djliquidice already said.
I am from Greece from Athens and my English is not so good. And I write and read the messages with automatic translation. It is very difficult for me to understand the manual. I am asking if this is possible to enter the songs in BPM order without a computer Thanks.
…and we are giving you the answer. You need to use the Engine DJ software on your computer to analyse your collection and create a datbase first.
If you don’t do this, you will have to load every track one by one on the Mixstream to analyse them - which will take an eternity.
I check in each folder all the songs and it does an analysis. Should there be an external disk or flash usb for the database? So then where do I put the usb flash in the controller to get the new database? Correctly?
Sorry, I’d write in Greek, if I knew it. I was there last year and it is certainly a difficult language for me to comprehend. Your country is beautiful with friendly, helpful people.
Hmm, I don’t actually see that in the manual? Maybe it’s in the Numark Mixstream Pro manual. Ioannis_Gkotsinos, if your tracks already show BPM on the collection/playlist view then access to the sort on your player is the following symbol towards the top right fourth icon from the right. At least, that is where it is on my SC6000. Look for that symbol in library view on your player.
The triangle in the white circle to the right toggles ascending/descending order.
If you have no BPM showing, then as PKtheDJ and djliquidice both said, you would be better using the Engine Desktop to do the analysis.
Thank you very much. I’ll look into it and get back to you.
When I’m playing music with the screen showing two decks and the two waveforms right left and in the middle, how come the songs are in bpm order?
are you talking about sync?
I’m interested in the time I play music and not only in the library that the order of the tracks is according to BPM and not alphabetically
