Pull USB for update while Mixer turned off

Hi there,

a) Is it necessary to start the mixer (Mixstream Pro in my case) and choose “Eject” before pulling the USB drive for updating on a PC?

b) If the mixer can stay shut down when removing it, can I also insert the updated USB drive to the still turned off device and it recognizes changes upon the next start automatically?

I remove my USB drive from my MSP after turning the unit off.

plug into the PC - add new tracks - eject - insert into MSP and turn the unit on.

Not had a problem with that yet.
