what the hell? I cant believe ive just sold all my controllers and dj equipment to by a prime go that doesnt have a TRACK SKIP BUTTON! what on earth were you thinking denon? this must be the first piece of music equipment in my life that doesnt have this feature! can someone from denon tell me what the justification of leaving such an integral function out of a dj controller was? utter madness
It’s almost as if there isn’t a million different places on the internet to research products before buying.
As you noticed, while ranting is perfectly fine by us, you will mostly get equally unserious posts mocking you for recklessly spending money without doing any research.
Maybe a better usage of your forum membership would be to post how you were using that function and asking what would be a workaround on Denon?
100%, that was going to be my next question
Aside from the odd time when the cue point is at the end of the track I never use it. And even then I could tap the overview waveform on screen to get back to the beginning.
well you should has under your settings option to disable or enable skip track during play on the touchscreen. You can still use the touch screen to quickly select your playback position for mix
Perfect summary of your entry post.
“sold all my DJ equipment” - my arse
Who spends $1000 on a device without even looking at Google images before?
Personally, I also prefer having dedicated Track Skip and Beat Jump buttons. The Prime Go and Mixstream units lack those, but starting with the $999 SC Live 2, you get all of those. The internal battery of the Go is overrated anyway (and expensive to replace). You can get powerbanks with 12VDC output for like 50 bucks on Amazon. This is how I drive my SC Live 4 when needed.
