I play DNB, Jungle, Breakcore, and Hardcore.
Serato DJ and Rekordbox DJ can grid disco n funk tracks perfectly.
They both dont warp the track.
When there is a fluctuation, the bpm still rises and fall but bang on beat grid lines.
Currently Engine Prime will warp the track to one consistent BPM. I guess it’s better than nothing eg Traktor.
I play disco and funk nights as well but I’m not too bothered with bpm for that night…its my Urban tracks that I worry about…with the current limitations of the bpm analysis algorithm.
Hi everyone.
It’s been a few days back in the lab, but we swiftly identified & fixed the bug in 1.3.1 and been rigorously testing ever since. We’re now happy to announce the SC5000 1.3.1 Firmware update is now ready for you on our downloads page: https://www.denondj.com/downloads
Please sure you delete any previous versions of 1.3.1 and always ensure you have plenty of time to test your set up with any new updates before using in a live scenario.
Thank you and enjoy!
