hi! my original Prime Go had an issue where the R channel was extremely static/white noise/cutting out (and quite a few other owners reported the similar issue, sometimes on the L channel). I ended up selling it as-is.\
I’m now considering getting the updated Prime Go+ and just wanted to do some due diligence - are there any known or recurring issues with the newer model?
first of all, a bit of electronic contact spray makes the noise go away. No need to ditch the unit. My Go had the same on the master knob, on the cross fader, etc. A bit of WD40 and the static is gone. Might have helped you too.
I first bought a Go+ because I thought it‘s an upgraded Go. Turned out it isn‘t. It‘s a bit faster, but Denon cut two features that I needed: Ableton Link and StageLinq. Those two aren‘t present in the Go+. If you don‘t need them, then the Go+ is a nice device. For me it was a dealbreaker so I sold my Go+ and bought a used Go and never looked back.
first of all, it wasn’t as easy fix as contact spray. it was a hardware issue attributed to the board - searched online and it was experienced by a few of us. thanks for tip anyway.
and nah dont need those 2 features. cheers for reply
