Prime 4+ WISH LIST (Think Tank)

What would you like to see on the next release! just for a bit of amusement

For me:
A touch screen i can mirror the main screen like a 15inch ipad. A way of connecting to my Denon HiFi Amp over WiFi to play music. Track info in the jog wheels, time remaining, elapsed, loop, BPM, Key etc Being able to move/scroll the track on the large loaded waveform over 4 decs. Being able to select the number of beats to stop on the vinyl break rather than just fast or slow.

ah so a cd player and a crystal glass for your beer in so you can put on your cd player lol

On the screen when you go to source → USB → folders (using not analyzed songs) it would be nice to have the song analyzed so we can have a range of columns that can be selected on the right of the main screen to show things like… Artist | Title | Album | BPM | Key | Energy Rating | Play Count | etc

Integration of chevrolet dj +ILS from the screen with the DMX menu to create a full light show like sound switch? if only… awesome

If the controller could recognize mac and windows format drives when inserting a usb/ssd drive or the internal drive (APFS and NTFS) would be wicked

100% auto mix feature so i can just press one button and it does all the work while i randomly touch stuff to look cool.

/sarcasm … however I went to visit a local DJ who I know at a pub gig with combined 30th birthday party on Friday. He was using a 20 year old Macbook with a cracked version of VDJ7 and basically used Automix all night. Never said anything on the mic either. Just populated the list and the tracks (badly) mixed together themselves.

No issue using it when people are arriving or during the buffet (as long as the settings are correct) but there seems to be a worrying trend of people using automix for actual gigs. There’s a DJ at a chain pub in the city centre who does exactly the same thing and it just reflects badly on the rest of us.

A button labelled as “2/3 SYNC” that does exactly the same as sync, BUT syncs the track as 2/3 smaller of the LEAD track. Secondary function, when SHIFT is being pressed, will sync the track to 3/2 bigger from the LEAD track. Users could have an option under the user’s profile to choose also an option to use instead 3/4 SYNC and 4/3 SYNC for that same button. It would make open format mixing not just easier, but also next level. DJs like to “fine tune perfect and long transitions with matched keys and such…” but now open format DJs could also have more perfectionist approach. And the Club DJ-s could use this for those "2/3 echo " transitions to go from house to DnB and such. Denon would be the first to implement this on the hardware. Right now this could be implemented also to shift + “plus tempo range” button and shift + “minus tempo range” button, if Pitch Bend is switched off (being on Range option).
