So tonight I was using my reloop RP8000MK2 Turntable on line 4 input of my Prime 4+.
While the record was playing I pressed on Filter and turned the Sweep FX knob and got filter! Perfect!
I then pressed on Echo and then turned the Sweep FX knob and guess what I still got Filter! Not good!
I then pressed on Wash and turned the Sweep FX knob and guess what I still got Filter! Not good!
I then pressed on Noise and guess what I got Noise! Perfect!
So it seems Filter and Noise work under Filter and Noise setting. But Echo and Wash also produce the same Filter FX.
Is this normal behavior? Can someone please confirm this for me. I’m on the latest 4.2 firmware.
Btw, durning normal mp3. playback all the Sweep FX work as intended.
Thank you…

Yes,
I read that… It reads only filter works…
But noise also works and that’s not listed.
It also seems odd that selecting wash and echo would just produce the same filter FX??
If this is considered normal behavior I have to wonder if it could have been implemented just a little bit better? Or at-least perhaps have the manual updated to reflect what my video is showing.
Thank you for your reply…
I think the reason noise works is that it’s only the regular filter and added white noise i.e. no added computing…

Correct , a lot of the fx include fx bank (echo , flange, ping pong) etc don’t work on Line in inputs, only on the internally sourced / usb tracks
