I have a Prime 4+, that since I upgraded to 4.2 the scroll wheel won’t work for the 1st hour. It doesn’t scroll or click. I haven’t tried to reset it, but I was wondering if anybody else has seen an issue like this. It doesn’t seem to be a hardware issue, but it could be. I’ve tried wiggling it a little bit to see if it comes and goes, but it doesn’t. Once it starts working, it gradually gets better and then it works the rest of the night. Rebooting the controller does fix the issue.
Curious, do you have this problem if you turn off WiFi. I noticed a similar issue but only at a specific venue when it was failing to connect to a WiFi it had been previously connected to. If I turn off WiFi it instantly works. (Also for me at this venue, forgetting the network also worked)
I have wireless and hangs and drops sometimes. That’s could be it. I’ll check next week. It worked fine at the same venue last night. Of course I backed up my corrupted database, after I found out it was corrupted. Lots of fun I had to deal with too.
I Read of a case where it was related to iPhone connected to USB in the back for charge only did you try to disconect hardware or accy?
Just hard drives plugged in. I won’t plug my iPhone to my prime 4 anymore. I had audio drop out and I had to reboot when I removed the iPhone from the charging cable.
